Wood Words & The 2017-2019 In-Colors

Good Morning and happy Tuesday! I have to tell you, I spent the weekend in my craft room playing around with new goodies, as I am preparing for my new Annual Catalog Launch party, and the more I play with these new In-colors, the more I fall in love with them. In today's cards, I created monochromatic examples using each of the new colors using the new stamp set, Wood Words, an awesome stamp set that ranks right up there as a favorite and I really hope you enjoy these as well.
For each card, I began with a card base cut 8.5" x 5.5" scored and folded at 4.25" Then for the Tranquil Tide and the Fresh Fig card, I used coordinating colored DSP from the Eastern Palace Designer Series paper pack cut 4" x 5.25" and for the Lemon Lime Twist and the Berry Burst, I made my own patterned paper using the splatter image from the Touches of Textures stamp set and the Powder Pink I created the pattern using the dotted pattern from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set. I then cut a second piece of solid cardstock 3.25" x 4.5" and stamped the floral pattern from Wood Words stamp set onto Whisper White with the coordinating ink pad along with the sentiment from the same set in Basic Black and Fresh Fig for the Tranquil Tide card.
I hope you enjoyed today's cards and I really hope I was able to capture how awesome these colors really are for you. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts in the comments below as I do enjoy reading them. In the meantime, have a great day and happy stamping,

Lovely Friends and Laurel Pop Ups

Well good morning and Happy Thursday! Well it looks like Spring or should I say Summer is finally making her appearance here in Central New York.We were seriously beginning to think she decided to vacation in the tropics and we were going to have to skip over it straight to Fall...our temps have been hanging in the 40's and 50's which is quite chilly even for us this time of year...but in CNY fashion, she is fashionably late and hit 88 today! Now, if it just sticks! What's the weather been like in your area?
Ok, well enough about the weather here in CNY, I have a pop up card for you using the brand new Lovely Friends stamp set and Lovely Laurel Thinlits. This set is just too cute and has so many possibilities.
I just love the new In-color Berry Burst. It's just so bright and cheery and it coordinates well with several of our core colors. Here I paired it up with Bermuda Bay and Old Olive and I think it just pops with these colors.

If you would like to see more color combinations with the new In-colors, be sure to sign up for my newsletter. As a free gift to my subscribers, I have included a free PDF for download when you subscribe.
For the inside, I added the Laurel pop up with banner. This makes such a great interactive card, your recipient will think you spent hours making it however, the Thinlits make it a breeze!
I hope you enjoyed today's card, please let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I would love to hear from you. I would also love to hear what you would like to see for future projects and posts. I am here for YOU and it's my desire to provide the content that you will find most useful.
Have an amazing day, and I will see you back here Sunday for a blog hop tour with some of my stamping friends with plenty more sneak peeks into the new catalog coming June 1st. The supplies for this card other will be available June 1st.
Happy Stamping,
Katrina
