Colorful Seasons - Thinking of You

Good Morning and happy Tuesday! Wow, can you believe June is almost over? It seems like it has just begun but here we are, in the final week! Anyway, I know for many of you, it has been pretty busy with graduations and graduation parties to attend. This year, I have only one so far, although, I'm sure there will be more grad parties to come.
Today, I want to share with you a cute card I put together using the Colorful Seasons Bundle. I love this bundle because it can be used all year round and has some really amazing images. And I just adore the Adirondack style chair thinlit! (Yes, I have a pair of the real thing sitting on my front porch!)

Directions:

To create this card, I used the Thick Whisper White cardstock, cut 4.25" x 11" scored and folded at 5.5". I stamped the sentiment in Dapper Denim ink at the bottom of a piece of Whisper White cut 4" x 5.25" and adhered a piece of the Color Theory paper trimmed 1" x 4" (I just trimmed off a strip from the Ombre Berry Burst piece using the lightest shade). I then cut a piece from the Dapper Denim "crackle" piece 2.25" x 3.25" and adhered that at an angle. I cut a piece of Berry Burst cardstock 2.25" square and ran it through the Big Shot with the Seaside TIEF and layered it onto the card. I then ran the Adirondack chair Thinlit through the Big Shot with a piece of Dapper Denim and added that to the card front using the mini Stampin' Dimensionals. These are the perfect size to fit in the widest part of the chair arms and legs. To finish the card off, I added 3 shades of the Berry Burst Glitter Enamel Dots, these are self adhesive and add a bit of charm to the card.
(See below for a complete list of supplies used)

I hope you enjoyed today's card. Feel free to leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts; and if you have any questions, please feel free to fire away.
Happy Stamping,

Sealed with Love - Hugs and Kisses

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! Wow, I went 6 day's without internet service and had serious doubts I was even going to get this post out to you, but low and behold...I made it...phew....! Anyhoo, my addiction with this stamp set does continue, but this card was actually conceptualized accidentally! What I mean is, when making one of the other cards, I had punched out the sweetheart shaped piece from a half sheet of cardstock sitting on my desk. Well that half sheet was still sitting there and so I picked it up and went a head and folded it in half again (creating a card base) and that's all she wrote...I got this idea, and here it is!
 Supplies:
Stamp Set: Sealed with Love
Paper: Real Red 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" cut and scored 4 1/4" and scrap; Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4" and scrap for heart Sending Love DSP 2' x 5 1/4"
Ink: Real Red
Misc: Sweetheart punch; Sweet and Sassy Framelits; Falling Petals TIEF; Big Shot; Basic Pearls; Dimensionals; Fast Fuse

Directions:
Punch the sweetheart shape from the bottom right corner of the card base and adhere the DSP to the left. Run a piece of scrap Real Red through the Big Shot with the 2nd largest heart framelit and a Whisper White piece with the next smaller size. Run the Real Red heart through again with the Falling Petals TIEF and adhere that to the card over the DSP. Stamp the Happy Valentine's Day in Real Red onto the Whisper White heart. and add that to the card with a Dimensional overlapping the Real Red heart. Add 3 small pearls to the bottom right. Add a piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card and while holding the card closed, stamp the Hugs and Kisses in the center of the punched heart.

I hope you enjoyed today's "accidental" card. Please leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts. I would love to hear. Thank you and have a great day!
Happy Stamping,
Katrina

Throwback Thursday - Too Cute for Words!

Hi there! Happy Thursday! I hope you’re all enjoying your summer so far. I’m just keeping busy, busy, busy! Today, I want to share with you a little of a “Throwback Thursday” project. It’s a mix of new and retired product, but so cute! You see, I was asked to create a cute invitation for my God-daughters up coming baby shower. I know right, how could I possibly be old enough to have a God-daughter that’s old enough to have a baby? To answer that, I’m not sure, but apparently time flew by while I wasn’t looking and my God baby grew up and is almost 22 years old! Anyhoo, here it is:

Supplies:

Stamps: Sweet Li’l One – Retired

                                Something For Baby

                                Date Time Place – Retired

                Ink:         Blushing Bride

                                Basic Black Archival

                Tools:    Big Shot

                                Baby’s First Framelits

                                Fast Fuse Adhesive

                Accessories: Doilies

                                         Medium Whisper White Envelopes

I hope you enjoyed seeing a mix of current and retired product come together to create an adorable invitation for someone very special to me. If you have any questions regarding this project, please feel free to reach out to me in the comments below. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Happy Stamping,

Katrina
