Show some Love

Hello again and Happy Saturday! Here is another absolute favorite of mine from the new catalog, the Sunshine Sayings bundle. The possibilities are endless for this set, but here is just one idea:

The card base is Basic Black cut 5” x 10” and scored at 5” to create a 5” x 5” card. The Whisper White layer is 4 ¾” x 4 ¾”. I stamped the “scribble” flower from the stamp set using Versamark ® ink and heat embossed with Whisper White embossing powder a total of 5 times.  I then colored each flower  with my Aqua-painter alternating with Flirty Flamingo ink and So Saffron ink. I then die cut the word Love from Basic Black cardstock for a total of 3 using the coordinating Thinlits and adhered them together to give the word dimension and adhered the entire piece to the card front and then adhered that down to the card base. As a final touch, I “painted” the Love piece with clear Wink of Stella™. And that my friends, completes our card for today.

I truly hope you enjoyed today’s card. I welcome any and all feedback so please feel free to leave me a comment below and wish you all a wonderful weekend.

Happy Stamping,

Shaker Jar

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love, love, love this new catalog and the wonderful products it offers! And today's stamp set is no exception! This card was so fun to put together and nothing makes me smile like shaking up a card and I love to give these shaker cards because they kind of keep on giving. Think about it, who doesn't love to get a hand-made card? Now add to it an element that makes them want to "play" with it! Yep, keeps 'em smiling, hence, keeps on giving!
Ok, so here is today's card:

And Fun was had by All

Well we had our catalog launch open house on Saturday. If you weren't able to make it, we did miss you and wish you had been there to join in on the fun! We played a few games, and it was quite fun to see everyone attempt to draw their Hawaiian Island with their eyes closed (insert giggle). We played a couple of other games, had prizes for all and a drawing for the door prize which was a card kit. We had lots of food and plenty of card samples for everyone to peruse.

We had a couple of adorable make n takes for everyone to make. I am SO in love with the Lots of Love hostess set! Here is a close up of the make n takes:

More than anything, there was lots of laughs, time spent with great friends and LOTS of drooling over all the wonderful product offerings in the new 2016-2017 Annual catalog. We really wish you could have been there.
Now that you have had a chance to look through the catalog, which new stamp set is on your MUST have list? Let us know in the comments below, we would love to here what you must have.
Happy Stamping!

Let's Celebrate!

Hi there! Well since my goodies arrived Thursday, I have been spending lots of time in my craft room playing with all these goodies, so today, I want to share with you a great card for any celebration, whether it be a birthday or anniversary or even a graduation card if you change up and use school colors.
What a fun card! I love Calypso Coral and Old Olive together, they just pop with the Basic Black as an accent color. It was fun to make and will be even more fun to give.
I'm still prepping for my open house/catalog launch party. It's going to be so much fun. I will be sure to share pictures of the event. In the meantime, happy stamping until next time,

Where in the World Have I Been?

Well, right here to be honest. The new annual catalog went live on Wednesday and my order arrived on Thursday and I have been playing ever since, getting ready for my launch party next weekend! Oh the awesomeness! I am loving everything I got and my wish list remains LONG! Here is just one sample of what I have been doing,

I will share more as the week goes along. But this little cutie is a 3-step stamp giving him his adorable huggable look. I started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card base in Early Esspresso scored at 4 1/4" . I layered a 4" x 5 1/4" Crumb Cake then I stamped my little cutie onto a piece of Whisper White cut 3 3/4"x 5". I stamped the solid image (labeled 1) with the lightest brown family color I have, Sahara Sand. I then stamped the second layer, (labeled 2) with the Crumb Cake ink and the third, most detailed image I stamped in Early Esspresso. I also stamped the sentiment with Early Esspresso ink and layered that onto the card. Isn't he just the sweetest? I just love him! What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below.
Happy Stamping,
